Garden Maintenance
Garden Maintenance covers both regular and seasonal tasks around the garden to keep it neat and tidy.
We undertake anything from hedge, lawn, and border care during the growing season through to leaf clearing and garden tidying in the Autumn.
We undertake the following types of work:
- Lawn. Regular lawn cutting, edging, and grass strimming. Lawn aeration, moss control, and weed and feed application at suitable times of the year. Reseeding of bare patches in the lawn.
- Shrubs, trees and roses. Pruning, deadheading, tying up, removal of dead and diseased or damaged wood, and planting new shrubs, trees and roses.
- Climbers. Pruning and training of climbing plants.
- Borders. Seasonal planting, border weeding and maintenance, and 'lift and divide' of plants. Application of fertilisers. Deadheading fading flowers and removal of self-seeding heads.
- Hedges. Regular hedge cutting, shaping and height reduction. Planting new hedges.
- Leaf Clearing and Garden Tidy. Autumn leaf clearing and pond netting to prevent leaves falling into fish ponds and garden ponds. Garden tidy throughout the season and autumn maintenance prior to winter.
- Spreading. Applying compost or manure onto flower beds and vegetable plots. Spreading forest bark mulch onto borders to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Spreading slate, gravel, and pea shingle to drives and borders.
