Trading Standards, Simply Handy and 'Buy With Confidence'

Simply Handy receives 'Buy With Confidence' certificate from Steve Ruddy, Assistant County Trading Standards OfficerAs part of Simply Handy’s ongoing commitment to provide customers with the very best service, we are proud to announce our Membership of the Surrey County Council Trading Standards ‘Buy with Confidence’ Scheme.

The Scheme promotes the business environment in which consumers can buy goods and services safely through supporting local businesses who have established the highest standards of trade and who demonstrate their commitment to delivering good customer service by dealing fairly and honestly with their customers.

Membership of the Scheme involved Simply Handy undergoing an audit by Surrey Trading Standards of its premise to monitor compliance with Trading Standards legislation and the Terms and Conditions of the Scheme, which included inspection of relevant business documents and procedures, as well as a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check. Surrey Trading Standards maintain a publicly available website which contains information about the Scheme and member businesses.
